After breakfast, we went into town to change some more money, as after yesterday’s Chitenje and toy bonanza, we were running low. Luckily my bank card still works, as I forgot to tell them I would be in Malawi.
We then hit the market again and bought another, equal, amount of Chitenjes. We again needed help to get them to the car.
Then, off to the supermarket, to stock up. There are five American guests arriving on Monday, who represent the American fundraising arm of Ripple. So we need some ketchup and other such things, which are unavailable locally.
On the way home we stopped at Nkhata Bay to refuel and hit the woodcarving market. I ordered eight local drums for the preschools (one each) I hope he delivers on the order.
Then home to Mwaya for a late swim.
